The Gold Tunnels

About this book

Queen Hetepheres’ tomb provides the setting for Mohamed Al-Aoun’s historical novel The Gold Tunnels. Herenakht, a sculptor who worked on its construction, leads a group of thieves involved in a dangerous undertaking there. Set in Egypt’s pyramid-building era, the novel also considers relations between those who govern and the people whose labour supports their society. Published by Kinzy Publishing Agency.
