In this world where love is measured "with blood bracelets," Mostafa finds himself entangled in a struggle between two civilizations, and between newborn feelings toward "Assefa," the winged creature carrying her power's secret in her name. Was "Kepler" a new refuge for humanity, or a gold-plated prison guarded by the flying "Qash'am"? And while light creatures and winged ones battle in a strange sky, Mostafa discovers that the distance between stars is not the only obstacle, but the human instinct that devilry may turn into exploitation and selfishness.
