About this book

I present this book hoping that God opens for us what it deserves, and rewarding our master Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family and companions, with what he deserves. Its purpose is training in the process of behavioral teaching in three basic steps: a developmental assessment of the child's condition, skills, and disabilities in different fields for employment; based on this assessment, teaching strategies are determined to obtain both long-term and short-term teaching objectives; then these objectives are applied through individual programs and special teaching activities. These three steps are linked to three volumes of the series the author relied on (as a simplified rendering of the guide's content): Individualized Assessment and Treatment for Autistic and Developmentally Disabled Children, TEACCH. The child's developmental profile covers seven basic fields for employing teaching, which are covered in the chapters of this book.
