Tales for Those Who Hate Sleep

About this book

Marwan Mohamed brings together stories that mix the fantastic with the real and draw on Palestine and Egypt. Palestinian legend and popular storytelling sit alongside satirical treatments of politics and resistance. Moving between inherited tales and a more personal narrative world, the collection combines strangeness, folk narrative, and political concerns.
