Rejoice Kur

Originally from South Sudan and now living in Australia with her family, Rejoice Kur grew up between Sudan and South Sudan. Her earliest literary imagination was shaped by family gatherings, shared meals, and the storytelling that surrounded everyday life.

Against the instability and hardship of war, stories offered her a way to look beyond the immediate moment. She describes writing as a renewing journey: a means of revisiting formative experiences, giving them shape, and carrying their human lessons toward the future.

Alongside her literary work, Kur is a coach who helps people recognize their capabilities through stronger self-awareness. Across memoir, fiction, and personal development, her work returns to courage, belonging, inner growth, and the possibility of moving beyond life's obstacles.
