Massacre: A Play

About this book

Hossam Qandil’s tragedy imagines a corrupt system shaped by people seeking to impose their own ends. Those inside it are drawn into an arrangement that produces further misery and fear. The play asks what happens when some decide to destroy the system completely, even at the cost of a massacre. Its central question concerns both entrenched corruption and the consequences of trying to bring it down.
